I would sleep in my jeep with the back seats laid down. My son would love it. I have to make sure I have all the required mods. I have the stock 32's and I'm getting the 2.5" tera lift kit on friday. When do you need to know by?
I don't know if I have a cb locker. Whatever that is. ?? Tires and locker are the only things I have to work on my the date of the run.

2.5" lift and 32" are the absolute BARE minimum. As long as you have tow points which I'm assume you do it's all good. A JKU myself I have had some scraps with 2.5" and 35s" so be prepared for that.

I want to do 33's when I ware these tires out. 35's scare me as far as gears and my stock axle goes. I like the look as well. Hopefully I have the 33's for memorial weekend. Yes I would like to go.

The official jeep site has lift, 33"s and 2 lockers as a minimum. I just ran John Bull last Sunday and 2 JKUs were open/open and ran the hard line on the waterfall very easily. One was a newbie. No issues.

You have sliders?

Thanks! Ya those work as rocks sliders/rails. They hang low so they get hit a lot. That's why I call them rock grabbers.

I actually swapped um out last week for some reinforced rubi rails.

I did notice the lower third bar hangs low. I'm sure those rubi rails are alot more comfy for what you do with your jeep. If I would have known I could have got those smittys off your hands. I'm excited to install the front bumper/grill and lift tomorrow! All day today I tracked my packages. Should be out for delivery in the a.m.

Have fun during the install! Yes I'm liking the rubi rails. I still do have the smittybilt ones so if you know anyone who's looking let me know. Keep us update.

No worries on when to confirm for the run. I'm all good with s last minute entry. We're staying at Hanna flats night one. It'll be $5 to park your rig and you can sleep at out camp. My tent will be packed but Skylar has a cozy one man tent you can crash. Dumpsterfish will be roughing it in a cabin.

Night two will be at camp Serrano and they say it's free to park your rig on the street. Since we will be coming from goldmtn area we can always cruise down the stan field cutoff. There's a few grocery stores there you can leave your jeep if your so inclined.

I have an extra 4 man tent if you need it. You'd need sleeping bags or an air mattress though

Gold mountain at night for sure... I like night wheeling more than day wheeling :-D Mottino will be a play it by ear type thing for me. Might head straight home Monday morning.

If Monday is part of the plan, I'd be in for a day run. Work weekends. I hear ya as far as heading home, though. Mottino is fun, but short and way the hell out there.

Hmm. Well, I'm not sure. Skylar was looking to bolt home early that morning.... I was planning on being off the trail around 1000-1100.

The 1st plan was going down gold mtn at night (Sunday) and up gold mtn on Monday. That way we'd be done by about 1000-1100.

The 2nd plan was going up gold at night (Sunday) and then mottino on Monday. I'm leaning on this one because logistically going up gold will make more sense based on where we are camping that night and also free up Monday for mottino. I heard its short and I have not been on it before.

Sounds like your familiar with mottino. If we met you by gold mtn or stand field cutoff around 0800 when would you think will be done with mottino? Could always add heartbreak/Pontiac sluice to Monday. With the previous trails on this run I am not sure there would be any trail worth anything we DID NOT do. Haha. True tour de Big Bear.

Depending on rigs, Id say a safe bet would be done by 2. MW is closer to the dezert side 247. And pretty slow going. If times an isssue youre definately better choosing GM and PL. Just my two cents.
