I have a 3" lift, 32" tires, front and rear lockers, no tummy tuck. I am still a beginner I have only been on 3 medium rated trails
i don't know if you saw this, but Last Chance Canyon / Nightmare Gulch would be good for you if your a begginner, and Yomondo puts on a great run! This is a really fun and scenic run, with hard obstacles and they have bypasses as well...something for everyone.

Sat 1/28/12 - Last Chance Canyon/Nightmare Gulch

John bull may be wet and slippery, which can make it more difficult to an already difficult trail...you will be using your lockers alot.

Yeah I may hold off on John bull.. Maybe we should run an easier trail to get the newer people up there such as myself and thephaty
I did see the last chance nightmare gulch run however it's a bit further than I am willing to drive this weekend. I do appreciate the offer though!

I don't have lockers. I am new to the jeep seen but I grew up on quads and in lake havasu city arizona so I know how bad trails can get and how mud can ruin things. I agree with you if you gonna do something do it all the way right the first time so I'm ready for any trail that you guys have to throw at me. also what day exactly are you guys deciding on saturday or sunday

Great day on the mountain and weather was very nice. John Bull is a cool trail...My Savvy tank skid is no longer new.. If it wasnt for that dang fallen tree, we might have run it in good time....

Sounds like you guys had a good run. So would you still not recommend that trail for noobs?

I'd like to try out Big Bear sometime, sounds like there are other trails more 'noob' friendly.
