California ATV Trails. You can try this site. Most of what they have is for ATVs and bikes, but they do have some 4x4 trails and parks listed.

The back roads from Arroyo Grande, Huasna area out to Pozo are fun. They are very mild, but during the winter you can get a good amount of water in the creek crossings.
What do Jeeps & Margaritas have in common?
Both are better on the rocks.
