If you're looking for some pebbles; Miller Jeep Trail in Fraizer park/Gorman area.

Just hop on a run...

I'll be in big Bear this weekend..Aug 24th will be a Miller run. I don't always post my runs as there's not enough room for a huge group where I love to camp. If you think you may want to run the trail with us, let me know..

Google Miller Jeep Trail..watch some video. It's a pretty tame trail..stock Jeep will make it..you want some sliders just in case in a spot or 2.

Just becareful, I have it on good authority that some of those pebbles like to chew through tires.

If you can though, definately hop on trail by Lorie, you will have a good time.

P.S. Trails by Lorie should be the name of your new website. Also, I get 10% of add revenue for the name.

LOL Scott! Nice idea! Aaron and I have been chatting about it actually...

We did well that day...SO Many rigs and only 1 flat?!! That's a good day!

Sliders= protect your rig from body damage..get on 4wheelparts.com. We have a store in T.O.

For Miller, you really don't need much more...future mods you may want to consider for harder wheeling when you're ready is a lift, skids and upgrade your tie rod at least; if not a complete steering kit. I'd go with at least 33's as well...just really depends on what you plan on doing with your rig..

When I wheel, I camp Fri-Sun. Go home late Sunday afternoon. I primarly lead runs through Calico, Big Bear and Miller and surrounding.....

And BTW; I'm Lorie.. in Ventura.

Again, it really depends on what you want to do as far as wheeling your rig. If you're plannning on running trails in Big Bear, Calico etc..I'd go with a 3 inch lift. If you're not, you could go less..but just make sure you know what you plan on wheeling. Otherwise, you'll end up spending the cash twice redoing it.

Hey oxnard fellow new jeep owner here. Im in santa monica, so you say there is off roading in malibu? I went with a buddy to look at miller in his nissan frontier and he decided it was to gnarly for him and backed out. I didnt want to run it alone. Let me know if you wanna hit it up sometime. I favor during the week when its less busy.

Oxnard here as well. I am off Wednesday this week and may be able to do a run if anyone has interest. The Nissan can do Lockwood/Miller but slider protection is highly recommended with the longer wheel base.

Hey OXNARD95YJ. Welcome to the forum. I live in Silverstrand and I'm part of the "Trails by Lori" family, and an awesome family it is ....I haven't been out as much lately, but I will probably be up at Miller with Lori and crew on August 24th weekend.

Hope to see you there!

Lorenzo and Scott-

Not yet!! Aaron and I keep talking about it. The more it's mentioned, the more I like it We are talking about what exactly I want to do with it..

I think I should get some shirts made just for fun right now. Aaron knows about setting up the site etc..I just need to figure out how I want to run it and what's involved with it..

It would be pretty cool to have a Ventura city wheeling club. It would definitely be more geared towards crawling rocks; as opposed to scenic wheeling.....altho I do that, just not all the time. It's seasonal as well for me.

After today, I'm on leave from work and don't return until Aug 14th. Maybe I'll make some progress with this

Ummm..errr..you weren't there for it. Last run; where I had like 18 rigs and we stayed out in Gorman..everyone bailed by around 1pm or so on Sunday. It was just me and Aaron. We got a wild hair and wheeled part of Miller buck-ass naked. And to make things even more fun, he tried the bonus points and needed a strap. Needless to say, he got a naked strap from me. After that, we proceeded to wheel a bit more and were then met by 3 motorcyclists Not too long after that, we decided it was fun, but time to get dressed. I went to put my clothes back on, and guess where my shorts were?? At the trailhead! Soooo, down we went, retrieved them, dressed and proceeded to run all of Miller..just the 2 of us. It was great..

BTW- for anyone who doesn't know..Aaron (crittert) and I are together.
Didn't want anyone thinking that's how I roll with just anyone..

Oh, funny $hit!
