we know where you've been...now tell us where your going..

So we've all had a great jeep year hitting lots of cool trails. Lord knows we spent a ton of money on mods to better are jeeps for the next trails...so now that you've done all this work and gained a lot of experience on the trails in 2013, tell us what trails and/or events are on your bucket list for 2014 ?
Maybe something completely new or something more difficult or maybe it's a trail you've already done that got the better of you. Whatever it is....tell you what you'd like to run this year...who knows maybe someone else would like to help you accomplish it with you...

I'd love to do the New Mexico Chili pepper trails this year...

Thanx for sharing...

Besides that "Do Over" at Matino, I wouldn't mind another shot at Marble Canyon. Do you know it was almost a year ago since the last time we went there together?

Yeah...I'm thinking another trip out there is in order...I know Raffi wants a do it over on that one too.
It would be nice to hit MC and then run CH backwards some time.

You know there's a very sweet canyon by CH that is full of rocks like MC and has a road next to it so if you've had enough or don't want to feed your jeep anymore rocks you can pull out....I haven't been in this canyon in a while....I'm thinking a run is in order...its only minute from C-horn

Moab is in my crosshairs. As well as John Bull and all the other "harder trails" in Big Bear, maybe a little JV? I really haven't planned much out for the bit of 2014 I'll be here but I really hope to get out to Moab or the Rubicon at least. Looks like I'll probably be moving to Wyoming this summer so I might have to hit the Rubi first since Moab will actually be a bit closer to my next residence.

One thing is for sure, I will be out there hammering on the rocks as often as possible!

I am only a couple of hours from the Rubicon. Let me know when you plan on going and I will see if I can make it.

We will get them all in 2014. Are you riding shotgun with me in Moab?

Wish I could make it to EJS 14 But it's lookin like I'll do some fun stuff this next year. Here's some off the top of my head I will be or would like to make it to.

Hammers
High desert roundup (you goin Steve?)
TDS
Fun in The Desert hopefully
PVD (you goin? It lands on my Bday again so you can bet I'll be there)
Fordyce?

My Expedition trailer project should be complete by end of spring so it needs some trail time. I would like to take it to:
Mojave Rd
Rubicon
Dusy
Anza Borrego
Exploring in Nor.Cal

That's just a few things, but you can bet I'll be doing all the wheeling I can

TDS is a sure thing and being discussed with some close friends are Rubicon, Moab, Mojave Road, and/or Shaver Lake. Wish I could afford all of them, but have to budget tighter this year. Other runs will pop up but would like to knock one of those off my bucket list in 2014.

I'll let ya know what I come up with. Hopefully by April or May I'll be set up to tackle it, but we'll see how things go. This build is a slow steady project working my way up to it. At least by now I don't care so much about whether it's gonna get banged up doing it...

I'm hoping to get up to St George/Sand Hollow in 2014. Maybe Mojave Rd. And cross all the BB trails off my list.

I did not get out much this year.

So for me.... any wheeling will be better than no wheeling.

Hope to order my new JKU at the end of Jan. Give me a month to build a deck in the back and...

My plan is to go on two to four day wanderings between Barstow and the Colorado river mostly north of I-10 and south of I-40.

Many WWII airbases and training areas I can search for stuff in rarely visited areas.

Also will do the Mojave Road.

[x] Mojave Road (annual trip since 2010)
[x] Moab EJS (2011)
[x] Rubicon Trail (2012)
[ ] Dusy Ershim

I was hoping to cross the Dusy off my list in 2013, but life happened and I couldn't do it. Maybe in 2014 but I don't know yet if I'll have enough available time off.

Aside from the local runs, the schedule for this year is filling up. Parker in February, Moab (EJS) in April, Tahoe (Rubicon) in August and Parker again in November

We had some things planned for this year, but between buying the house in Big Bear and my daughter expecting our second Grandbaby in August, things have changed a bit.

We have Calico on the calendar for March and at some point during the Summer I think we're doing the Dusy with Dwight & Lynda (if they let us tag along Our August plans of Tahoe & the Rubicon have been put on hold, but for a good reason.

I think we will be spending most of our free time in BB working on the house and we need to learn the trails since we will be up there so much.

PVD is a for sure for 2014, we had a blast and Mike just may decide to join Steve on Isham Canyon.
