FML!!! That is a long time between runs. Kind of depressing when I thin about it. Lol.

No. It dead ends and where it dead ends is a creek nearby. We're not crossing any creek.

Don't cry. Where Lockwood becomes Miller you'll get your wheels wet.

Newbie here. I just did that trail 3 weeks ago. If I can get my steering box into the rebuilder and then back into the jeep I might try to do saturday. Mine has no lockers and 31x10.5 wide brute street tires. I had to get strapped twice on Miller right at the end where you have to hook left and pop over the rocks. I got a strap if I get hung up. Do you guys offer tows to guys with off road learners permits?

I'll make a mental note of it. If you can make it, be at my camp by 0930 Sunday. This is what my rig looks like

I got one of those big rubber band 25,000 lb snatch straps. Yanked me so hard off the rocks I thought i'd been shot out of a spud cannon. It'll get the job done.

I called the kids sitter, I mean dogsitter, for this weekend but just noticed another thread mentioned you shouldn't do Miller without sliders and skids. I just put on a 3" lift, 34" KM2s & Rubi sway on my JK 2 door. (No lockers). I thought I'd be good to go for Miller. My Jeep addiction funds are depleted so I won't be armored up by this date. Pinstriping is fine- crunching brand new parts to oblivion is not so appealing. I'd like to get a few thousand miles under her before I start mangling.
Any thoughts/suggestions from those that have done this run? If Gunner can do it....

You will be fine... have taken stock x's and sports up this trail without a hiccup... Only reason we got out of the jeeps was to take pics.

Wife does her nails on this trail... in fact she does them on Holcomb, Dishpan, John Bull, Bull frog, Calico, last chance & nightmare, black rock... hmmm, might be time to up the game here.

You sound like me a couple of weeks ago before I ran Miller for the first time. You will be fine as is.

What makes you say this, "Big Bear is booked so it's Miller time!"

That's impressive. I can hardly do my nails sitting down at the kitchen table.
Manicure-impaired I am.
Thanks for the input.

You're a brand new wheeler..the risk is there. I've brought stock rigs through Miller many times and have had zero issues. There were times where their sliders were used and when they were not. Every run is different and peoples' SKILLS are different. Can you do the trail? Yes. Can I promise you you won't scrape up your junk some? No. It's your choice. It's your rig.

And Dak- there's no reservations left. Not driving 3.5 hours to "see" if there's any first come first serve sites left Friday night. Not to mention, the trails are freakin packed right now. BB isn't going anywhere.

Hell yes for those that camp. Who wants to drive 3 hours, wheel all day, then drive 3 more hours home? All in one day. Nope! I love camping all weekend with good friends, and getting in runs day and night. That's how we roll. Whoop Whoop!!! Let's Wheel!!!
