Try calling 5th street auto salvage or chucks on hueneme road down by pt mugu. You also have a truck dismantler in santa paula as well as a pull your part. Have you checked craigslist? What did you do to- your 231 that ir needs replaced?

Here is a break down of what is going on and what we have figured out so far

-Recently out in a rigged ridge super short SYE
-Jeep drive fine for 3 days then randomly started having clunking noises and grinding happen that's listed below

- only clunks/ grinds when the jeep is in gear (or when trying to put in gear for the 4hi reverse)

2HI
-clunks when taking off after getting in gear
-clunks after shifting to a new gear whole driving
-clunks when going in reverse right after going in gear
-if gas is not applied athere is a continuous grinding noise from the tcase
- goes away as soon as I push in the clutch
-clunks randomly while driving

4Hi
-while going forwards the jeep drives fine no clunk
-when trying to let the clutch out in reverse the grinding is horrible and the jeep won't even move

4Lo
-works perfect forwards and backwards no clicking, grinding, or clunking

Please help we're going to pull it out and crack it open tomorrow is the plan

Not familiar with the rugged ridge super short sye, did it require you to cut the shift rod in the transfer case? are you sure you got the oil pump assembly set in place correctly?
I f i understand this correctly, all tc ranges engage and function however you are getting noise out of all except 4 low?
