Thanks Stan, I did as well. Nice work by you and Jeremy....again. You guys treat my Jeep as you would your own and I can't ask for more than that!

I can't make it tomorrow, but this does sound like a really cool run! If someone wants to run it again in a week or two, let me know.

This is going to be the next run I do in a week or so myself. The last time I was up there we left the Pinnacles staging area on the way to deep creek and I noticed 2N75 was now open to jeeps. It used to be bikes and quads only, you may want to check it out. The trail 3N34 from the Pinnacles to DC has been recently graded, most likely fire prep, and is kind of dull. 2N75 will bypass part of it and should be a lot of fun.

From what I can figure it is 3N34 to 2N75 to 2N28Y to 2N25 and back to 3N34 to DC.

We are thread jackin like a big dawg but they are out on the trail right now....

Hwy, can a stock rubicon and sport make it through these trails? Sport has rubi suspension and rails on it but that is it. If ya make it on a Sunday am pretty sure we can drag two more out. They work nights on the base and sometimes (often times) Saturdays as well.

Good question. I just met my neighbor down the street, they have a new Modern Warfare JKU. Essentially a fixed up Rubicon. Will try to see if they want to go too.

Dak, the last time I was on 2N17X there was bypasses for each of the difficult sections. As for 2N75 I have not been on it since it was a bike quad only trail. I'm looking forward to talking to these guys when they return.

Couple youtube vids:

Didn't see anywhere in the OP where they were planning on taking 2N75 but could have missed it. 2N17X looks like a nice trail for a n00b.

I have taken both on bikes many times but not in a jeep, looking forward to it though.

What can I say....what a run today!
Ingredients:
1 rain storm
1 flopped jeep on dishpan
1 jk rescue vehicle that wouldn't run
1 flopped jeep that needed the plugs removed so we could pump out the oil in the cylinders before starting
1 idiot kid trying to come down dishpan in a thrashed bronco that couldn't wait and slid into jk rescue, and was almost mobbed by the angry jeepers trying to upright the jeep at the waterfall,
1 large boulder that had to be winched out from under the bronco so JPi could move their now "repaired" jk
2 idiots on motorcycles that couldn't ride and blocked progress
1 Toyota forerunner that couldn't wait for us to move and literally drove off the side by the concrete water tank down one steep hill
it was an incredible day! So happy that after Bill flopped, all that was hurt was his feelings and a few dents. Thanks to all who helped: Dan and his wife, Peter, John, and whoever had the gas, sorry I didn't get a chance to say thanks and pay you, pm me and I'll send $$ for the gas, Dave, and everyone for the support and water. I know I left some guys out, thanks so much. Lots going on at the same time today!
Great day, let's go again!

They didn't ruin it, just added some unneccesary drama, that's all

Just a tire slipping off a rock at the wrong time. Bill and I both went up the waterfall but the top is really deep on the lower side now. If it wasn't for the extra length and width of my jk, I might have had problems too.

yeah, that top section on the "hard" water fall is something else. IMO, ya should have a spotter to get through there as the DS front takes a pretty good dip as you crest over the hill. Everyone drove out so that is good.

Big THANK YOU to all that showed for this run!

No make that a HUGE THANK YOU! For a simple day run this one was pretty epic if you ask me. It was great to meet all of you!

I had a great day. Might be easy for me to say since I did not flop......

....also since I did not run out of gas on the trail

Stan, you were DEFINITELY the guy to have on this run. Thank you so much for directing and handling the recovery and mechanical repairs as well as everyone else that helped out.

If anyone has photos please post them up.

Here are mine in no particular order.

Haha! I learned something new yesterday, if you leave your JK idling for an extended time pointed downhill, and you only show 1/4 tank of gas, it stops pumping because the pickup is in the rear of the tank! After assuming the worst, an electrical problem, I put 5 gals of gas in and it ran! I felt like an idiot, even though I had a little over 1/4 tank when I pulled out the winch line!
It just added to the dishpan excitement we had.
Ok, it's out now, whoever took the pic of me putting gas in can post it now!

This was indeed one of the best wheeling trips I have ever experienced. I am glad I did not make the right turn at the top of 2n17 as I had planned to make the early return trip home. I decided that this was a great group of Jeepers and I was going to make the run up Dishpan since I had not done it for a while and I sure got my fill of excitement. Stan, you did a great job of summing up the days events in your above post so I wont add anything. You were definitely the MVP of the day.
