I have been waiting anxiously for this all year. So when I saw that registration was open the other day I started planning what runs, how many shirts, raffle tickets and what not. Went home from work a told my wife about it, only to have her inform me we'll be in Maine all that week.
I've marked our calendar for this also. I'm not sure what run we will do, still have to figure that out. Bill, maybe you and Tracy would like to stay at the same place we are? Lol, I can reserve you a space if your interested
Are these trails okay for a stock sport to access. I see all the safety gear and tow hooks needed, and it seems to me its not lol...what is the date on this event
JPi has sponsored John Bull #2, and will feature a trail lunch courtesy of JPi, and of coarse Chef Jim will be doing the cooking. For those of you that joined JPi last Forest fest on Matino Wash, you'll remember Jims Trail Tacos were the best lunch on any of this events trails! See you all Fathers Day weekend!
JPI sponsorship is a class act And Chef Jim will be a memorable run !! And if I win something at the raffle it will be icing on the cake. BBFF here we come
You can signup and choose not to run any trails, you can enjoy the BBQ, vendor display and raffle. Your entry fee will go to keep Big Bear trails open.
Registered awhile ago. Motino on Friday, JPI JB run on sat and Gold Mtn on Sunday. Mimi is not likely to make it, but younger son is! He is driving GM -First time driver.
I will be there. Maybe it's because of the TACOS because the JPI run on john Bull is full for Saturday. Looking forward to both the fun and the lunch:bop:
There is usually some BBQ tickets available for sale ... And vendors are open to anyone... I am looking forward to this weekend get out of heat and wheel with friends... Oh and JPI BBQ!!!
We've sat on the trail longer on other runs than during FF. Last year we sat a bit on Mottino, but that was mainly due to our yummy catered lunch of Jims trail tacos. Now the raffle is what you sit awhile for, of course if your winning it makes time go by faster.....I wouldn't know about that
IE4W's Big Bear Forest Fest is only a few days away! With the forecast of 100 degrees plus, the mountain air is going to be nice. To all signed up for the JPI run on John Bull #2, we will be having Carne Asada tacos, beans and cold soft drinks for lunch on the trail. Thanks to Don Dunn for taking time to prepare and cook for all of us! See you there!
