Correct, changing to Pilot Rock due to snow fall. I will update the OP. Please re-confirm if you are going or not.

So far will assume:
Myself, Billg.otd, turdhurler, schoonover

Hopefully the rest of your are still interested. I understand if some of you want to do JV with wego and others.

Yeah there is, we will either end up in at miller canyon or hopefully we make it up to arrowhead at Hwy 173. In any event, we will be near Hwy 18 which will take you up to BB...should be good skining with the fresh stuff...

We should end up at hook creek rd, cedar glen, and big bear is about an hour, depending on traffic, which can be bad on a weekend after a new snow.

X2 ^ You will be in a good spot to go the rest of the way...the traffic will be REAL bad early in the day because the skiers are starving for snow and will head out Sat, but should be much better by 2-3 when we are finished...

I will help Rick out w some maps for those that need them. The white map shows the whole area and both trails. I would say we should start at the Silverwood dam off Hwy 173 at the trail head of 2n33. That will last about a mile until we hit the 2n17 (rated difficult) whick again intersects w 2n33 after several miles. From there we would take 2n33 on up to arrowhead area ending at the Pinnacles staging area (which is another great starting point foor a future trip to dishpan, BB etc) I would think (up to you Rick) that a good starting time would be 9-930 and there is a good parking area for air down. Directions to this point are 210 or 215 to the 15 north and exit 15 at Hwy 138 and go right (east) to hwy 173 left on 173 to silverwood Dam recreation area and parking lot is at the dam. Let me know if there are questions.

The trip on 3/3 is dishpan, so IDK. If Louie is running stock or not, its kinda rough in spots, but other than that its a great trail over Deep Creek etc.

I had thopse tires on my jeep when I got it, they are good all terrain tires. I think thats what Rick just put on his...

I'd rather go with 9:00.

I'd meet with anyone that wants to. I do plan on trying to get there early though. I'm near where the 10 and 215 meet in Grand Terrace.
