This will be Pilot Rock and maybe some others if we make good time.
I'd like to keep it somewhat beginner friendly.

The plan:

Start at the Silverwood dam off Hwy 173 at the trail head of 2n33.
Take 2n33 on up to arrowhead area ending at the Pinnacles staging area
Directions to this point are 210 or 215 to the 15 north and exit 15 at Hwy 138 and go right (east) to hwy 173 left on 173 to silverwood Dam recreation area and parking lot is at the dam.
Ill go to (assumin i dont get scheld to work) first trail that pops to mind is gold mountain in BB. But thats the easiest trail ive run up there and its short so if we run early maybe we can get 2 in if ur feelin up to in
I certainly wouldn't say expert...I still get lost, just ask Coop I thought this was your run? Let me think on this and see who is coming...you called for a medium difficulty trail and that should will not be a problem. BB is the best and if the weather stays nice, we will have our pick of them all! :thumb:
JV is a blast. Done it many times stock and with the lift and usually hardly anyone there. In BB I have run into other groups and it's caused the trip to drag sometimes. JV is a huge area and you can do pretty much anything you want. The trails aren't as defined so you can get a little lost. Pretty much something for all skill levels. I'll post up some pics after.
I have been down there several times, but it was before I owned my jeep. We rode bikes, rhinos & quads. There is obviously hardcore wheelin for KOH and Jerry has made several references to it. I dont know how many moderate to Blk Diamond type trails they have. They also have a trail from there to Big Bear that is on my list.
Count me in this time will have that weekend off from Mexico Job site! JV or BB are good with me no way I am breaking out the winch all day so pick something medium for the new wheel folks!
Ya just some corners are bad i maybe doing the jv run
