No problem Dave. We have Big Bear to look forward to. I remember the birthday party days when there seemed to be one every weekend. Never enough beer at them.

See you soon. Say Hi to Vanessa.

Bill there is a BBQ cemented into the ground at the top of one of the hills on this run. We found it in February along with the phone booth.

I want to start up towards the Microwave tower on this run and work our way towards the BBQ and Phone booth. I want to look for some different trails and obstacles for a future M&G. Luckily there are bypasses to almost everything that I do out there.

Bummer only looking like 3 of us. Lhc how many people do you have?
It looks like I will be spending my end of desert season weekend in Glamis. I was really looking forward to using that BB-Q and I wanted to try that phone booth hill climb now I have lockers. But my ATV has been getting neglected thanks to the Jeep. This would be my last opportunity to ride the ATV this season with many weekends of Jeeping still to come.

Is there an address for this Truckhaven location? I know where Anzo Borrego is [had a corvette tire patched there once :-( ] but nothing else...

Is there anyone coming from the Corona area we could meet near the 15/91 interchange to travel down together?

If I were going I'd love to hook up with u....its not that hard to get there..

U'll take the 10 east to the 86 south ...take the 86 to Borrego/sr22...there is a huge Arco gas station on ur right...make a right and go about 4 miles and u'll see a huge " A "made out of huge cement pipes that u can TRY and drive ur jeep over just past Holy rd on ur left....drive to it and ur there....

I'm sure someone from down that direction can better assist u but...
Have fun!

LHC30, As of now there will only be the 3 of us (if you come down). Dakota and I will already be there as we have a house in Borrego Springs. If you continue South from Corona on the 15 exit the 79 South (Temecula PKWY left under the freeway). Stay on the 79 until you come to Warner Springs. Pass through Warner Springs and look for the S2 (San Felipe Road it will be the first left). Go left on the S2 and follow it to your first left S22 (Montezuma Road). Go left on the S22 passing through Ranchita, down the grade and into Borrego Springs. Go Right when you come to the Hotel. This is Palm Canyon follow it to the circle. The Wells Fargo ATM is in the circle, that is where we will be at 9:00 AM.

The address for the ATM is 730 Christmas Circle, Borrego Springs, Ca 92004

Call me if you have any questions.

Grant (Fred1) (714) 271-5454

Ted and Mimi, That was a lot of fun. Thanks for coming out. How was Julian?
We will post up a similar run in October when the weather is cooler so we can use the BBQ.

See you soon, Grant and Dakota
