I have done several runs with people I've met on WF, last Saturday I did a run with 2 long time forum friends, and 2 new ones. WF is the best forum I have ever used...BTW I cancelled my memberships with all the others.

Randy..that run back over a year ago or something...it was a Sunday, and some of the group remaining went with me to putt around HV and the rest stayed behind. They went on their own run and one of them ended up flipping on Vics Cat. Sarah's ONLY concern about that was if oiled got on the ground. Never once did she mention if anyone was hurt etc. I wasn't even present for that, and she proceeded to tell me what a bad influence I was. I basically told her what I thought and I was done with MJR.

And yea, if you're not in a Click on that site, they do not welcome you..they may welcome you, but they don't ever let you in. There's several people here on WF I brought over to MJR, who have Nothing to do with them now.

I have around 6 people or so from MJR that I keep in contact with off the forum...one of which will be on my next run
Ya, I remember that thread too and their righteous accusations. It was around the same time fish chewed me out.

They should just password protect the site so new people can't get in lol.

I was on that Sunday run when Dave rolled it on Vics cat. Ill bet that was almost two years back. I think you are right Lorie, that may have been the thread that did me in at MJR. I honestly thought that FishPoet was Sara's boy friend or husband by the way she 86 me off the site.

I also think Rick is right about being part of the inner circle at MJR I'm having a similar experience with a group out of Simi right now. What ever happen to my right of free speech? All these moderators think they are God or something?

Yep.. It was years ago.. And I had nothing to do with what happened. For whatever reason, people enjoy trying to give me a bad name. If they really knew me, they would know, I'm probably one of the most respectful people on the trails out there. I can't change what people want to believe.

I've never been fond of MJR... Really glad to hear that douche lost his mod status. I'd love to throw some mud in his face..

MJR is not the only place.
On a place I used to watch, called the wayolife, and I did not even post much, I got piled on by the mod/owner's fan boys, and was told if you don't drive a fully modded JK, you are a dinosaur. Well, I let them dwell in thier own limelight, and come here for some comradrie, and to look for folks going on trips/events. Yeah, my TJ is mostly stock, and my XJ is two wheel drive, ( family car), but I do go to what interests me like ghost towns, old forts in the desert, mineral collection places, and the like. I am an avid camper, and this is not my first circus, as I started with an old MB, and then to an 83 CJ-8, an 89 YJ, and a 94 XJ, then back to another YJ. wheeled a big Red Ram Dodge for a few years, and now have the silver TJ.
My next trip will probably be with a couple of guys I always wheel with, to the chipping grounds and petro-glyphs at Coso, or up to the southern Sierras at Monache, and Rattlesnake.

I would fall into the latter category, patting my own back and basking in the ignorance.
