Nice videos. Looks like more rock on the waterfall this week than last. Sure is a fun place either way.

We prefer to do that run clockwise, bit more climbs, then descents. Either way is fun. thanks for sharing the vids.

Seems there was a chatterbox on the first one.

Long periods of silence on a badass run doesn't really fit how I roll. If you do something cool; make an obstacle the first time or something, why not celebrate? I've lead runs where nobody said anything, dead silence...Boring, and especially if you have no passenger. We're wheeling; let loose. Where else can you geesh?!! Thanks for the diss Dak.

I have to say that the chatter on the radio was fun. I thought there would be more. It was my first time with the group and I was pretty quiet. And I ain't got no stinkin modern radio i can hook my music to. LOL

And it's not like there was a ton of it...but yea, if I do something and it was fun, I tend to share. If it bugs anybody on my runs, don't come!

It was part of the ambiance of the run to hear the music bouncing off the walls of the canyon. Kind of like a concert hall effect.

Definitely no silence on my runs. I'm there to let loose. There will be no violins playing; and peace and quiet? That happens when I'm at home. There's a time and a place for everything. Wheeling and climbing rocks is not "quiet time".

What trail is this on out in Calico? Sorry if it's a dumb question, i'm not familiar with that area but it looks like a good future run to tackle!

Based on the video it seems a stock JKU Rubicon could do just fine right?

I wouldn't suggest doing Calico without sliders, some armor and a lift. The trails are Doran and Odessa...and Wall Street.

A stock jku could probably do it but it's definately not worth it you'll come our with more damage than you think. Other than sliders definately get armor underneath

Even sliders don't always help, huh Brandon? I even picked up a little more canyon rash on my passenger front fender this time. In that drop from Odessa to Wall Street. Almost time for Xenon fenders. Lol

The white JKU Sport in the vid was stock except for sliders. He used the sliders a lot. Total carnage for a stock JKU 2 bumpers and 1 tire sidewall. But he made it thru.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm running an LJ with 4in lift and 33's. I agree i'd need to get some sliders before tackling this trail.

My friend is running the JKU-Rubi. He's already got sliders but no lift or extra armor so might have to wait until he gets the lift on.

Anyhow maybe i'll join ya'll for the next run, should have some sliders soon. Also planning to do an SYE kit and DS in the next month.

I definitely want to go on one of your runs sometime. I drove my husband crazy at Nightmare Gulch, he was trying to concentrate on not destroying the Jeep on our first run and I kept talking away

We hit the sliders a couple times and I just laughed, he said I was like a possessed person since I'm such a freak about the Jeep. I just had a really good time, can't keep that bottled up

I can't imagine being quiet doing something so fun, that's like not dancing on the boat at the lake
