I was searching through the forum for info on the Zone Lift Kit, anyone have experience with any of their lift kits? I have my eye on the 3" kit. For the price I am wondering if it is one of those, "you get what you paid for".
i was searching for a lift for my g/f's tj, and compared to other lifts for the same amount of money, seems zone lifts looked pretty good. And they come as a complete kit, shocks, springs, sway bar links, bump stops, track bar bracket to relocate it....etc - is what you want so you don't have to piece things together. there are good reviews floating around the forum, people seem to be happy with them. what jeep do you have?
Yup, I'm looking at TeraFlex right now as well. There is so much info about lift kits out there that it is hard to know what is best for my application and what I am trying to get out of it. I want the ability to do some moderate rock crawling but since it is a daily driver, I would like to keep as much of my stock ride as possible.
I have the 2.5 max travel with Bilstein shocks and am very happy with my setup. Probably the most complete kit on the market.
It just depends on your budget, how high you want to go, and what size tires you plan to get.
What size lift are you looking for and what size wheels?
The RK stuff is all upgradeable. So if I want to go to 3.5" (maybe when I put on 35's) all I have to change is the springs. You can also start with one of the basic kits and add components over time.
I'm sure Teraflex is the same way, but they don't have a kit as complete as the max travel. I had a few places quote me for a teraflex kit and add the same components and it is close in price, but still more expensive.
