2006 Wrangler

Need some help! Took a trip to the west side of Death Valley last week and started to here a clicking noise that seemed to be coming from the clutch pedal! I here the noise just as I'm starting to push down the pedal. I was told that a clicking noise could be serious, and is a sign that some kind of senor or device could be going bad. He also said that if it goes you can't start your Jeep. Don't want that if I'm in the Mountains!

Not real sure about this. if you get stuck because your clutch pedal sensor is bad then pull the start cutout fuse in the master fuse box. Might work letting you crank without the clutch.
