AC turning over way too quick- warm air also

I just bought a used jeep and AC is fully charged I just did the canester today and it's good. The freon is good. However, it's turning on every 7 seconds whereas my tundra takes about 30 seconds. Any suggestions? Leak/hose/something?

When you say that it is turning on every 7 seconds are you talking about the blower motor coming on or the ac compressor clutch kicking in?

Also, the cans are only supposed to be a temp fix. To do it correctly your system should have a vacuum on it when the freon is installed so that it does not have very much pressure. If you just install multiple cans your system will just over pressure or not have enough freon to properly cool.

It was freon. The auto shop guy told me this so I posted it without trying the freon. I called my Dad and he said the guy was incompetent and basically shouldn't be giving out information. My Dad said it was turning on and off, the compressor (I think) because it needed Freon. After I added the can everything works great. I would not have posted this but I am not very mechanical and it was 110 at the time!

It works great now!

Thanks for your reply.
