Addition to the family

Well, we did it. My wife got her own 2014 JKU tonight. Thank you Jaron from Chapman! You gave us a great price and were a treat to work with. That's what I was supposed to say...right? In all honesty, you did a great job. Thank you! On the drive home I felt like i was trying to chase a cop with his lights on, OMG!

She is already taking my jeep mags and picking out things to do to it. I am not sure if having 2 rigs in the family is good for my weekend get out time or not. I have a feeling I will spend a lot more time wrenching and upgrading. ...that almost sounds like I am complaining...

Thank you again!

Congrats! I've been trying to talk my wife into a second wrangler too. Glad you had a good experience with the dealer, it seems to be a crap shoot when getting opinions from people.

It was Mopar Man-member name that helped us out.

We did look at one over at centennial Hyundai, used mango tango, but it has some transfer case&front dif issues. The manager tried to tell me it was ok and I didn't know anything about jeeps so we left. He asked me how I would fix it and I just smiled and said what do I know? Then jumped in mine and left.

There was another we liked at Prestige and I did give them a shot while talking to Jaron, but they could never come near the price and it had less on it. I try to give that shop the benefit of the doubt but they seem to always f it up. Lol.

The billet silver is the one we got.

The black and yellow I took a pic of for my father in law. That one is honestly very nice and pretty well built. I did kind of laugh at the harbor freight winch though. They are good winches but was kind of funny to see it on a rig at a dealership.

Congrats man! I'm trying to get the little lady to get a Jeep after her beetle lease is over and it's just an on going war.

Omg, those beetles are so freaking expensive to fix! A buddy of mine got one from a family member for super cheap, he wasn't sure why until he had to fix it, lol. He would just keep saying, every freaking thing that breaks is a grand to fix!! Lol. I helped him work on it once or twice.

Earlier tonight I laughed at myself being a jeep geek, I walked into the garage with the trash and when I flipped on the light I noticed the little jeep in the lower passenger side windshield and said, omg that is cool! When I walked back into the house, I was still laughing at me saying that I had to tell the wife and she actually ran out to see it. Lol. It is the little things.

Congrats on the second Jeep. My wife and I both have one. The only con is paying for 2 times the Mods. Enjoy.

You aren't kidding. My wife has a list of things she wants done. Lol. Good thing is she uses her money for hers and my money for mine. Everything is separate which has its perks.

Makes a lot of things easier. Also helps that we both make about the same so it is never a, "you make more than me" or some other rot. Then when either of us get something expensive we can't say anything. She tried once and I reminded her it was my money. Never happened again. this was all her idea too. Lol
