Well I finally made it down to Burro Wash this weekend and it was pretty cool aside from the family camping there that blocked all of the access to the water, luckily they were packing up and heading out so I was still able to get in the water.
The one thing that I did find out is that I really need to insulate the hardtop on the jeep. It would almost burn your hand if you touched it on the drive back... not fun when you have a 2 year old in the back seat.
Thanks. I never heard of it. Might go next Sunday. I was always under the impression you are nit supposed to wheel around the river, but it all makes sense. I have noticed people heading out that way and always think " what the hell is out there??"". Now I know.

it was our first time out there. At the end of the first wash, you will see a trail going up the hill to the right, you need to that that trail, then at the top go to the right down the south side of the hill.
