I'm in, I might have a jeep or two from work with me. 0830 goal with a leave by 9 is good for me.

Hmm I maybe interested. Let me see if I can get away. Have not done that trail in my JK, did it in my KJ some time ago.

If I can get a pass I will come on out. Any requirements that you have or anything? I may know a few people that might want to come.

More the merrier. No rules other than common sense. Just a loose group with some impromptu runs now and then and all have been fun

Weather for Sunday no rain we are goood to go. I should be done with all my work Saturday afternoon. Fixing engines in vans sucks. Everything takes so much longer but I am almost done. See you there.

I am going either way. If the wash is not passable I guess we turn around. There hasn't been any major down pours just yet so I really don't expect too much water down there.

I spread the word to a few people I know. Should be fun.
Any set CB channel? What is the condition of the trail? Should I expect the need for my winch or anything?

Usually Channel 4, and the last time we were out there it was in pretty good shape. There were a couple of rough spots but I made with our stock JK with no problem.

Confirmed with one of the guys I go with. His rig is down but will be riding shotgun with me. Picking him up at 7:30 and should be there by 8:30-8:45.

Sorry to say but I will most likely not be tagging along. Tweaked my back Friday Morning and am struggling with getting around right now. If I start feeling better I might still try to make it, but right now it looks like I won't be going.

I'm still in see whoever at 830. Ray lay down put ice for the pain. Do some stretching and knee pulls to the chest. I've had a bad back for 39 years. No fun and painful. Get better and we will find another trail.

Sadly, I have to bow out for tomorrow. My wife came down with a bad cold/flu thing and she is pregnant with our first. She says I could go, but I can't. Need to take care of my wife and unborn.
Next trip I will be there, seems Repairman and I go about once or twice a month somewhere.
I was going to have a buddy ride shotgun, he is a fellow jeeper who is retired but his rig is DOA for the moment. He is located off Jones and Spring Mountain. If someone is near there and wouldn't mind taking him, please let me know. He is a good guy. I actually met him through another friend who is active military, and currently on deployment.
If not, no problem. He has run it before but was looking forward in heading out.

Sorry guys.

I will be there and possibly with a guy with a Rubicon JK that I work with.

Mark, take care of your family.

Ray, I hope your back feels better

That was a good trailride, a little more rocky than I thought it would be.

As in softball to bowling ball sized rocks sticking out of the first half of the trail. It makes for a very rough ride until you get down into the wash.

A little bumpy??? Is there a trail in NV that isn't.
Had a great time met some great folks and it was an absolutely gorgeous January day. It doesn't get much better.

Ready for arum in Feb. here is a group photo on the beach at lunch on the CO river.

I'll post up more pics Tuesday night.

There was several 12" drop offs and some fun mild rock garden areas. 4W low was needed to get back up some sections after leaving the river.
