Like most of you know right after you upgrade something, we get overtaken by the urge to go off-roading & test it. Yesterday I had just finished up my lift and tires on my 2013 Unlimited and was struck by that urge. Luckily I have some close friends in Vegas who have been in the off-road scene for a while and decided to take this 1st time off roader to BDW.

Before arrival we stopped at the von's gas station (warm Spring and Durango) to top off on gas and all the needed nastiness. This station is only 5 minutes from the location and is the closest one with a air station to fill up your tires afterwards. NOW BE AWARE! the fill station sucks and take about 2-3 minutes a tire on 35's... And about $4-$5 in quarters... Yeah...

Now BDW was a great overall first trip for me, EASY trails with very few O %^*$ moments. I would highly recommend this spot for other first timers! This trail allowed me to understand my tire alignment and getting up and down hills! Plus as you can see there are ton's of great chances to take photos & show off the jeeps. Novice & more experiences off-roaders will probably think this trail is a snooze but overall a great place to just go and test you new tires and gadgets!

Warning : I have been informed you can receive tickets for being at this location, I've had no issues but it can happen. I witnessed someone off-road testing a truck from a dealership today so i found this kind of ironic but we all know life is ironic!

Stay Smart and Safe,
Rabbit

PS: Ignore my typos, Possible drunk off turkey or beer I can't quite tell yet!

You guys should hook with JKDrummer and do Rocky Gap. Went yesterday great run only one bad washout takes a few minutes to walk and plaan but all went through to include a stock JK. Plan on four hours or more and go east to west.
