New dealership in LV

Well I just heard there is going to be another jeep dealership here in town. Anyone else hear about that. It will be on Sahara but that is about all I know. That and it isn't too much longer before the opening.

Haven't heard any rumors, but would look forward to some new competition locally, not to mention an additional shop for repairs. Kelp us updated with any new news.

Isn't Chapman already off of Sahara? Chapman Las Vegas Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram a New & Used Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Dealer in Las Vegas Nv

Or is Prestige going to open another one. I was not here back when it was open, but I heard that Jim Marsh used to have a Jeep dealership up in the northwest that was top notch. Not this crappy prestige stuff.

Yes chapman has a value center there. No it wont be another Towbin property, thank god. Lol.

Yes, Jim had a jeep shop. It was pretty good. Good old boy type and some large negotiation possibilities.

I heard about this from a coworker whose father was with jeep for many years. I should know more in a couple weeks. I am curious where it will be on Sahara. I am thinking west end but not sure yet.

Ok new dealership will be on Sahara and valley view where the BMW shop was. This will be one of two that will be opening. Other is still in planning stages and will have multiple brands...in theory and is about 6-8 month out at earliest. The jeep shop should be open soon. The first day for the employees is Monday. jeep dealers just got a bit more competition.

I haven't gotten the name yet. I know it isn't prestige or chapman. They are a big dealership in Arizona though.

Sahara & Valley View? That can't be right. There's no room for anything like a car dealership at that intersection.

Good point. The BMW shop was Decatur and Sahara....now I am started to doubt which intersection it was at. I don't think it was jones and Sahara...been a long time since I was over there. I will check with her again Monday when I see her.

I am curious about that as well. The name is Sahara so I wouldn't think that it would be associated with Chapman or Chopper Towbin. They have quite a bit of inventory already. I plan on using them when the parts for the power steering issue recall are available. I will let everyone know how it goes.

Was told the owner used to be part of the Bob Miller group in AZ. Sold his interests to come here on his own.

It's on the north west corner. It's the old desert nissan store. I was there on Friday and spoke with Jerry and the writer Gage about this thread. I've worked with them and all of their techs in the past at 2 different dealers and they are good people. Their transmission guy is probably one of the best Ive seen. They seem to think it's not a problem with warranty issues and modified vehicles, depending on the circumstances of course, but I know Chrysler has way more oversight than they used to. When I have issues I'm going to give them a try and see what happens.
