Novice from Las Vegas

I am a novice off-roader, native Las Vegan with a 2005 Jeep TJ that I am just beginning to build. I am a retired General Contractor and I have been itching to get out and explore the back country.

Ok guys it's time to set something up for this weekend. Weather is going to be around 80 so it should be perfect. I'm open all weekend does anybody have any ideas? We could do a run to the river or up to the mountain for some snow action.

I'm in. Burro wash, Rocky Gap, Wheelers Pass, Angels Peak, or something else. What are you up for?

Have you ever been up to Gold Butte, its a little bit of a trip up to Mesquite but I hear that its amazing scenery up there.

I went on a DW ride out of Laughlin last weekend and there were close to 25 Jeeps, just a little too big of a group for me. Are you thinking Saturday or Sunday?
Post something up in a new thread.

If you go to Gold Butte, you'll have to check out the Devil's Throat, and Little Finland. Here are some teaser pics of wind eroded sandstone carvings from Little Finland.

Great time for gold butte. Love that area.

I am up off north Bradley and Elkhorn area. Near shooting park. If you ever see a rescue green with a cb antenna that has the us flag on it, that would be me.

I'd be there in a heartbeat if it weren't for our existing plans to go out town this weekend.
