You would think that DW would get a real forum instead of a meet up, just saying it's doesn't cost that much...

I ride dual sport motorcycles and also Jeep, the local dual sport and adventure bike forum I belong to also has a 4x4 section and we have done runs with both adventure bikes and jeeps, having one to Kelly's Point in the Spring and also Bar 10 Ranch...then in April a weekend event in Gold Point Nevada. It's kinda cool seeing the two sports sharing the same trails and events...

Anything a car could travel on was considered on road and airing down tires was for off road not trail riding.

Anyways, picked up a bone stock TJ few months back and thinking of getting into mild wheeling to explore the area. I put in a request on meetup.com to be added to DW and was a bit perturbed by they require me to provide email, cell, and personal address to join the club. That it is sponsored by the dealer and no privacy act or personal information disclosure documents are required is a huge red flag to me. Maybe paranoid, but I don't like people I have never met having all of my info. I have had club organizers in the past thinking they had any right of any kind to tell me anything other than rules of the club or organized run. My experience as an ex firefighter and ex Sergeant in the Cavalry generally makes conversation with those kind of folks digress to some pretty foul language anyways.

Definitely not into the PC G rated forest service trail universal studios adventure scene.

Actually I really do not like even being involved in family outing groups unless everyone in the family is of drinking age and isn't offended that there are guns along and when the breaker bar or socket wrench snaps an extremely diverse and colorful demonstration of the use of foul language ensues.

Anyone that understands all that let me know, would like to check out the area and even if my stocker has to stick to the bypasses I am well experienced in recovery.
I didn't even read the rest of this thread before I quoted you. Google WarMachines702 and come on a run. You'll fit in just fine.
