Looking good. How much crap gets thrown up with the small flares? I know on my old JK my rear hinges and rear flares took a beating from rocks.

You might work just down the road from me. If that shovel photo is from your workplace.

you know its funny you should bring that up cause my buddy has the stock fenders with the same lift and tires as I and his rear hinges are taking a beating and mine have not even a scratch. Love the fenders.

Well when you work in an area and you see some things all the time you tend to notice them more. Lol.

*** The fenders look great! Some people mess them up but it looks like you measured twice and only had to cut once. Some times people get that backwards LOL
*** My favorite idea is the On Board Air mount you made. I think that is your Million Dollar idea, Patent that! My portable one burnt the crap out of my hand yesterday when I picked it up... Drives me crazy everytime...

Good call on the Smittybilt Fenders... some guys can cut the fenders to much and then they flop in the wind... still looks great!

Jeep looks good buddy! When I get back from Afghanistan and get all the stuff bolted on that I've accumulated, maybe I'll see you around!

Only been on for 2 days but so far I love it, looks great and was really easy to install. Its louder then the stock soft top on the hwy but not to bad and really unnoticeable with music playing. My buddy lives with me and has the black jku in the back ground and his has the Off Road Heros top so I have been able to compare the 2 tops I would say the main thing I like better about the ORH top is that the back side windows match up better to the door windows and flows better, also the back of the top itself stays flat till the fast back vs the NX that slightly slants down before the fastback starts. The biggest plus for the NX is the quick flip and open sunrider and the fact that it uses a factory style rear bar for the back window that seals completely where as the ORH uses a semi bolted in rear brace bar that also allows for a small gap in the back between the gate and the window. I am yet to make sure but the biggest downside maybe that you have to leave the door surrounds in while using it as a bikini top, which I think would suck with the doors off.

Spider web shade is the way to go, esp since we don't get much rain here. I have one if you want to check it out.

I like how you can leave the Spider Shade on when you put the top on. I wish I would have remembered that before I dropped by and grabbed the Smitty Mesh Top a couple of weeks ago.

I am going to try that the next time that I have the top off. I did it with the soft top and it was a pita to get the fronts latched. I could not imagine trying to do the rear center on the hardtop's freedom panels.

I left my Spider Web Shade on under my hard top, and it was a PITA with regard to 2 things: (1) Lining up the little holes for the freedom panel bolts to go through, and (2) closing a couple of the latches that are now hidden above the Spider Web Shade. Next time, I think I'll just take it off first.

I thought about the spider shades before I got the trektop nx but now have no need for them since it doubles as a bikini top.
