Ride Presidents Day weekend.

Throwing this out to all to see if anybody is down for a ride this weekend, anyway is good for me. Something we haven't done before or have done before. Let's hear what you think or want to do

Might be able to get a little dirty over Wheeler Pass if the snow isn't all melted yet. But I am open. Sunday is best for me, Monday is a workday.

If anyone is up for exploring Gold Butte, its and hour and a half ride to Mesquite, and then probably 4-5 hours exploring, so it would an all day trip. Might better to plan a camping trip if we go up there.

FYI, If we end up on the mountain, I will probably come back down the way we go up, that trip around from Pahrump is boring and seems to take forever.

Forgot that the DW had the overnighter this coming weekend. I not quite set up to camp just yet. Only tent I have is a three bedroom and it takes forever to setup and tear down. Enjoy your weekend repairman!

I may be up for a ride. I still have yet to do Wheeler's pass, so if you guys are definitely going, let me know. Sunday isn't ideal for me, but I'm flexible. Saturday or Monday might be better, but I could probably do Sunday.

Meetup at the McDonald's located at the corner of Durango and Farm Rd. in the Northwest part of town, just north and east of the 95 and Durango as you are heading out of town.

8480 Farm Rd.
Las Vegas, 89131

Say meet Sunday 2-16-2014 at 8:30am, head out for Cold Creek by 8:45am.

Might want to get there a little earlier if anyone needs to gas up or grab a bite to eat. There is a Gas station right on the same corner as well.

I am going to go ahead and cross post this on another forum to see if we can get a couple more interested.

We're in. My wife is even going to join us tomorrow (I promised her lunch at the winery). See you in the morning.

Pics from today.

As always it was good seeing you all. Hope you enjoyed lunch at the winery, ate there a few times and always enjoyed it.

The wait for lunch at the winery was over an hour. Instead, we ate at the Mountain Falls Grill Room (at Mountain Falls golf course). It was pretty good. ... and also, Thanks for posting the pictures .. it was a Good Ride!
