Wheeler Pass, Lovell Canyon, Logandale, and anything in and around any of the State Parks are open. Saw something in the News that Utah was able to get a billed passed that would allow them to open the National Parks up there, I would hope that the idiots running Nevada would do the same thing, I have to believe that they are loosing out on a lot of tourism dollars at Lake Meade and Red Rock.

Sandoval says we can't afford it!!! You can sure tell he has never run a small business. It would be the right thing to do.

I actually did bitter springs today - started in Moapa and came out on North Shore Road - they did let us go out the Henderson side gate

I did potato ridge/rocky gap road this past week. Came in from Lovell Canyon road and drove out through Red Rock. The gate that used to be on the west side of the trail is completely gone now. Great trail with some new washouts.

How was Red Rock Gap road last week?

How bad are the washes?

(If you're interested in running it next week, see my other thread.)

Not bad at all. Just a couple nice changes. I'm still stock except for Evo Protek skid plates and some good recovery gear. I've done this trail in a stock wrangler sport with highway tires aired up, but it was at the limit of it's capabilities. With the Rubicon aired down I went through the toughest sections without incident. There is also some great exploring off of Lovell Canyon road. I found myself driving down a riverbed which was much more difficult before I even got to the trailhead.
