I will be ready for one next weekend. Back is better just a few things around the house to get done. Sprinkler head repair, I think we had a few freeze a couple of weeks ago.

If anyone is interested in coming over to the northwest and go tool around at some lower elevations near Mt. Charleston I might be interested Saturday afternoon. No time for an all day trip though.

Definitely interested in getting out Sunday Feb 10th, that way my oldest son can go. If anyone is interested let me know. Thinking Mormon Wells Rd. Like to take it from the 95 all the way to the 93 if it is open all the way thru.

I might be able to go, but I gotta check with the boss lady. With the rain coming on Friday there might be some snow up near the campground area.

30% chance listed for Friday so no worries about the rain and some snow would be great. Ray how far to the start of the trail?? I just need to know how much fuel to pack in.

Not worried about the rain. A little snow would be OK. As far as mileage, looks like the Corn Creek turn off is 20 miles from Alliante Casino, the trail maybe 40-50 miles, and then another 50 back to Alliante. Several websites say Mormon Wells is 20-30 from 95 to 93, but I don't believe it.

Yeah mileage checked and I got plenty time is great and should be there waiting for you having breakfast. See U there.

Dr. Tiki about time you got some house arrest. You could pretty much do most of work from anywhere you get connected but it is a shame you will be at the house and not on the trail. Spring and goood weather isn't far out so sometime soon you gotta get a break.

Puck I'm in on this trip have fun in Nelson and love the new look of your XJ have some fun and have the erst of those guys get you some good pics.

It is a pretty long trail. It is actually something like 52 miles from 95 to 93. If you look at the sign, which is a good 3 miles off of 95, it says from that point it is 47 miles to highway 93

Backroads Around Las Vegas, Desert NWR, Mormon Well Road

If you get low on gas, there is a station at 93/15 before you start heading into the valley.

If you think you guys have a race truck you can try it like this

Nice video but I am in for a nice Sunday ride. I got enough range with 10 extra on the back. Always a consideration with a 15 ga tank.

Well, now that I'm an experienced Jeeper (and by 'experienced,' I mean approximately 4 hours .. just picked up my new Rubicon late this afternoon), maybe I'll join you on Sunday. Critical question is this: how long (in terms of TIME), would the trail take?? I need to be back in town by 5:00. Thanks!

If we leave on time we will be home in time. Would be a great trip to get some seat time and nothing to difficult and great for a stick Jeep. Bring a friend the scenery is great.

Ha! Getting a a break is not a problem as I am pretty much out every weekend. The problem is dividing my time between all the activities.

I really want to get out and hit a trail though. I'm working on a GPS Navigation solution and I need to get out of town to test the setup.

My plans are a little up in the air ... got a sick 11-yr-old at home with a fever. I'll let you know by Saturday afternoon if I plan on joining you. It's definitely a run that I've been wanting to do for awhile now.

We'll have to keep the pace for you Terry, I wouldn't want to miss the Who either if we had tickets.

Killer.

(Unless I'm in front) it seems like we pretty much run directly without side trips. We can come back with camping gear for a side trip run some day.
I've not been that way so I'm looking forward to it.
