Good Seattle Area Shop

Hi guys,

I have a 13' 3.73 auto JKUR with a 2.5" Teraflex coil lift and some 35" tires that I'm considering regearing to 4.88 or 5.13. Does anybody know where I can get a quality job done for good price? Have any of you done this?

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I just called 4Wheel Parts in Lynwood last night and, interestingly, they are running a special on G2 gears $1200 installed for 4.10 and 4.56 for the JK. $199/axle labor. Any opinions about their work?

PS: I've since narrowed my selection to 4.10 or 4.56. Sound about right for a 13' auto JKUR with 35" tires?

I have no opinion either way on 4Wheelparts work. I have bought a thing or two from them. That's about it.

Northridge4x4 is having their open house on the 29th. I would contact them and get a quote for gears.

Have you driven around a lot though with 35's and 3.73's? I've got 35's on 3.21's and while it's not great, it's certainly liveable.

I have. I'm not a fan. Could be because of the Toyos. At 82lbs each, they are heavy.

This!

Although 4 Wheel Parts may be having a sale on gears, I personally know that Auburn Car and Offroad does great work on setting up ring and pinions. Their guy is the same guy that set up my first axles nearly 20 years ago, and set up all four axles in my two current rigs. Call them 253-939-5019.
