so new to jeepn. just got a 04 wrangler (my first jeep ever) and put a lift. went to tahuya to explode my shocks. on the first day i got my lift. but it was a good day is there another place to go wheeling
New on here. and new to jeeps. My brother got my hooked on them after showing me his 81 scrambler that he is doing a custom build on. and a 76 cj5.
So i had to go out and get the cady jeep compared to his. 99Tj.
No places other than the orv around spokane that i know of.
Hi Kelly. Welcome to WF and congrats on your jeep.
Skeeter and I are in Spokane too. We usually head north/northwest, to find and explore old logging roads. We do go out to the orv park sometimes. I've head that there are trails out around Mica Flats but we haven't been out there yet.
Good girls go to Heaven. Jeep girls go where ever they want.
Not sure yet what i will be doing with my jeep but my brother on the other hand is going full rock crawler so im thinking if i want to go out and rough it up i will tag along with him.
I will see about taking some pics of his build this weekend.
His scrambler looks like friggin gravdigger!!
If your brother can wait a bit, a friend and I are looking into getting a tubing bender to build bumpers and cages this winter.

Arguing with a truck driver is like wrestling with a pig in mud, eventually you realize the pig enjoys it.
well its been awhile. i went out to sea for a while but know i am back. has the Tahuya trails changed. i heard they have. they put rocks and other cool stuff now. well if anyone has any info let me know.
Hi guys. I live in the SW part of the state, in Van-tucky(aka the 'couve =P). I've had my YJ for about a year and a half now, just got it back up and running after about 3 months of working on it. Stock everything at the moment. I mostly go wheeling out in the Gifford Pinchot around St. Helens. Nice to meet you all.
Here's Puma, stuck in the mud...again. It's a '93 with the 4.0. Stock everything at the moment. I plan on giving it an over axle, and putting 33's under it, then a roof rack, kc's, winch, we'll see where I go from there. This trail is off the IP road out by Yale reservoir before they closed it down to the public. I mostly drive trails around the SE side of MT. St. Helens, around Swift Reservoir. I'd like to go check out that new park out by Tillamook though.
hey what up, i just got 95 sahara, pretty much stock except a roof rack and some small things, i got big plans 4 it though... im in redmond, somone else wana holla back maybe help me with some work, or go wheelin?
Ahh, finally back on the east side. It's good to see the "if you cross the fence and the dog doesn't get you, I will" signs right next to the "McCain Palin" signs. Thank gawd I'm back in republican goodness.
Any other people in the Yakima Area? I'd like to drive out to Ellensburg through the LT Murray next weekend.

Whats up guys i signed up for this site back in March when i got my 05 wrangler and i don't think i have really been on here since then lol i go on the4x4network.com a lot because thats a washington only forum. Im gonna start coming on here more often now to so i thought i would introduce myself, i live in lakewood Wa. near tacoma/seattle. I have a 05 wrangler sittin on 33s some nice little goodies underneath but wanting to do oh so much more haha i have been out wheelin like 6 times this summer haha lovin it! I have mainly just gone to Tahuya just to get started and get use to everything because for the most part it is a easy place to wheel.. just recently i went to Naches though.. that was HARD!! haha waaaaay harder than Tahuya but it was fun and i deffinatly want to go back.. Let me know if you guys wanna know anything else.. im a talker lol
hi montgomery, nice to see someone (sorta) in my neck of the woods!
i'm new to the jeep thing and have been trying to find a wrangler club or something local here in western wa, with very little luck, so thanks for the link.
haha anytime i have a few close friends that are in jeep clubs and know a lot about the area.. im pretty new to it to so they are helping me out with a lot of it.. but i know Tahuya pretty well and i have been to Naches and im gonna go to evans creek soon.. i don't think i want to go to elbe lol i have heard some nasty things about it.. its reeeeaaaalllly tight in there.. but yeah just let me know if you need anything..
We just moved into the Lakewood area too. I'm definitely looking to get to some trails before it gets too wet out there! Depending on how many family members want to head out, we take the '05 Wrangler Unlimited (stock), the '06 Commander Limited (2" Teraflex + armor, and a 9k winch), or both.
if you go to tahuya it doesn't really matter to much if its wet or not.. some areas it will get a little nastyer but for the most part its all like little rocks not dirt so it doesn't really get nasty.. it should be fine to go there.. but yeah go soon just to make sure hahah
