Long Beach WA May 12

We are going to Longbeach WA to hangout and drive on the beach. The Bronco group will be there as well. Come on down. 15 miles of public highway that's right next to the ocean.

In. We have reservations at Breakers for Fri and Sat nights, but I just found out a friend has a vacation cottage down there we might stay at instead.

"Down there" turns out to be Moclips, which is 108mi from Long Beach. Yikes.

Breakers it is.

Wow. Yep, that'd be a run to get to the beach and back.

We made reservations at the Anchorage Cottages just down the road. We needed a 2 bedroom place since I found out we would be bringing my mother in law with us. :/

Is there a group dinner either night? One of our favorite restaurants is the Depot and we need to make reservations for one the nights.

Sounds like a plan. Want to make the reservations? Probably Saturday night.

Well, if we want a group dinner it's not going to be at the Depot. I called & they are closed Saturday night for a wedding.

There are barbeque pits and tables under a large gazebo at the Breakers. We can always setup there if the weather turns south. If we all bring a stick or two of dry wood, we should have enough dry wood to have a decent fire.

Ok, I packed about 10 marshmallow sticks-my portable grill-chairs-going to find some fire wood tonight. Also we had a big party in December so I'm bringing all the left over beer to share. Anything else to pack?

Blankets, the coast gets cool when the sun drops. Regardless of the time of year. We will bring some wood. Tom is bringing some as well.
