Olympic 4x4 Off-Road Meet...

Hiya folks! This Sunday a big group of Snohomish and Seattle area Jeepers are going to Walker Valley ORV park up north of Sedro Wolley. We would meet at Olympic @ 8am. Don't need to be lifted or bring a buggy or whatever, we will split into different groups and go down different trails. It's going to be really fun and hope ya'll can make it! If you have any questions about anything just ask me or PM me. Again its on Sunday; 11-6-11 @ 8am.

Walker valley says "more to most difficult", how accurate is that. I am used to hitting Elbe Hills (which says "most difficult") on my 4x4 quad, but wouldn't even think about taking my daily driver Jeep through even the easiest of any of those trails. I have scars and a limp from that place, how does Walker Valley compare?

This is the gate that you have to get through just to get to the trail.

Walker Valley ORV Trip (Pt. 19) Booom! - YouTube

YouTube up some more videos of Walker Valley. It's considered one of the tougher trails.

P.S. You guys should bump it back a couple weeks. I'm gonna be over there the weekend of the 19th "educating" a Yoter friend of mine on wheeling.

Yes I have a stock JK, and what's with the time...damn thats early! I am coming from Puyallup, I tried to get something going down here near me this weekend but nobody is biting. I guess I will have to make my way up there, if I miss the 8 AM meet (by the way where is the meet?) is there a place to meet up there?

It's really far up on Hwy 9. Look and see if there is directions online.

Getting There: Walker Valley is located 7 miles SE of Mt Vernon off highway 9 in the Big Lake neighborhood, the road to Walker Valley ORV Park is well marked and easy to find. From I-5, take exit 221. Go east on SR 534 for 5 miles and turn left onto SR 9. Drive north for 6 miles (milepost 46) and turn right onto Walker Valley Road. Go 2 miles and turn right onto Peter Burns Rd (a one-lane gravel road). After about 1 mile you will see the staging area on your right. Alternately you can take SR 538 from Mount Vernon to Hwy 9 and follow Hwy 9, 4 miles south to the Walker Valley Road.

Yeah I saw when you hit the back bumper. Both my steps bit the dust and the back bumper is pretty done. Did you get stuck at all?
