Richard's Lift on Saturday

Rich and Ashley came over yesterday and we slapped a 3" Teraflex lift on their '12 JK. The lift came with replacement front lower and rear upper control arms. All in all, not a bad lift. The insructions left a little to be desired. but we managed to get it done. The parts looked like they handle the task. We did manage to find out the rear control arms were mis-labeled. And that they need to be installed prior to the bump stop extensions. They had some rock rails to install as well, not sure what brand. As well as some Fuel Wheels and 35" Procomp tires. They made for some nice steps though. There were plenty of pictures taken. I will find out where the darn camera is and post them.

The missus had the camera. Nothing like photos to bring the task to light...

Start with the last. Project completed, nice looking setup...

Front end under construction...

Front end done, bleeding the brakes.

Taking it around the block.

Lift done. Time for dinner and then rock rails.

The build out crew.

The happy couple.

It was a true lift party. A couple of meals, a couple of shopping trips. And an evening visit to the local Limeberry for some soft server yogurt before closing up shop. It was a great day.

And next Saturday may be an RE long arm lift on the missus' blue JK.

You needed hydraulic shocks and a loud stereo. Hit the base and load the shocks. Neighbors see rigs doing that all day. I told you about the guy behind me. Nothing but low-riders in his driveway.
