Ive lived on the Olympic Peninsula for most of my life moving away here and there for only a year or two at a time. Right now Im in Port Ludlow next to the Hood Canal bridge.
Tahuyas fun, but its gravel mud puddles and trail are stock rated. Dont get me wrong, the hillclimbs and rocks are fun, but its getting old. Its close and since I recently just got my JK and have been out of the Jeepin scene for a bit (have had 2 TJs before, rock crawling and trails) Im just wondering where else Jeepers go next to the Olympic Peninsula?
I am watching these forums now that Im a new member to see when people are hitting the trails, basically if its in WA I want to do it. But in the meantime Im always itching to head out and explore, even if its just a mountain gravel road.
When I was quite young I used to ride my quads and dirtbikes out in Sadie Creek west of Port Angles off of hwy 112 near Joyce, WA. and it was a blast.
My question is, has anyone ever been out there in a Jeep or 4x4? I know theres Jeep trails out there, just wondering what the trails are like. I have a JK that is very able but still not ready to take it on trails with a ton of brush and twigs. Shes just to pretty for that yet, but anything else, Im on it.
2007 Jeep Wrangler JK, 5 inch lift, 35 Toyo MTs and some other minor mods.
Thanks for anything!
P.S. If anybody does ever want to hit some trails and your wondering who will go? I will! Just PM me.
