New thread up. If you choose another trail, just throw it up as well. More options for folks.

Evans Creek is somewhat nearby and is more accessible to stock rigs.

It's on the short list. I have been there a few times.

Starting a new job, plus I just got my parts in the mail for my winch controls so I'm going to have to pass this weekend. I'm going to be working on the Jeep this weekend.

Heads up

Just about everything is closed, except Walker Valley, Tahuya, and Elbe. The hippie ranger types keep everything shut down while there is snow, or melt. Initial opening for Evans Creek is scheduled for March 31st. It's a partial opening, so likely only the lower trails.
Be patient, Naches/manashtash/Rimrock/Liberty etc won't open untill June. If in doubt check with the Ranger district for current info.

Hi guys.... New to the boards, but live in the Bellingham area and would love to get in on some of the action without having to go TOO far South..... I'll be checking back to see what's going on.....

Anyone around the North Seattle area want to help out a fellow Jeeper? I have my red LEDs for my instrument cluster and winch controls to mount in my dash, I just have no tools. I am pretty sure I could do all the work, but I have never tried to work on a vehicle at all other than swapping out a radio.

I've been trying to go to a friends house to do the work, but our schedules haven't lined up very well for the last 2 weeks. I REALLY want to get these mods done, but I have a somewhat crazy schedule and am on call 24/7.

If someone is willing to help me out, I'll provide the beer (as long as you are at least 21)

I'm happy to lend a hand...and some tools. What's your schedule looks like for the rest of this week?

Thanks! Just let me know when your free and where (and what kind of beer you prefer)

As of right now I'm only scheduled to work tomorrow (Wednesday) day shift, but that can quickly change as I'm always on call.

I just used an extension cord and cuts the ends off for the wiring from the buttons to the winch. He also sells a wiring kit, but my method saved a few bucks.

I should find out my schedule today for the next few weeks. I am filling a temporary position that should give my hours some stability for about 3 weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to do some off roading during that time since I have my winch ready to go now!
