Seeking reputable Jeep mechanic in greater Seattle area?

Am hoping someone might know of a reputable maintenance shop that knows "Jeeps" and does quality work?

I don't mind traveling a bit if necessary (1-2 hr) travel; in Seattle on a busy day that's not far....so anywhere from say Everett south down to Olympia and anywhere in between works.

Appreciate any advice. Thanks much!

Auburn Car Repair and Offroad did the gears for me and I was very pleased with the work.

No additional costs and it was done when they promised.

Much appreciated - thank you. I actually stumbled across another forum (jeeps unlimited.com) this morning and someone had also recommended the same shop. I called and spoke to John and will be taking my Jeep there hopefully next week if I can fit it in my work schedule. Thanks again!

I am also looking for a Seattle-ish area shop to do a regear on my 13' JKUR. What were the specifics? How much did it run you?

Whatever you do, dont trust those websites with dealer service center ratings. They are fictional reviews.

The cost was $1350.00 plus tax. Since I went from 3.21 to 4.56 I also had to get carriers.

I won't need carriers. Any idea how much difference that makes?

Olympic 4x4 Supply are good dudes up in Snohomish. Only guys I let touch my Jeep for the jobs I can't do myself.

Best place for ring and pinion is in Everett place called Randy's Ring And Pinion. They are the makers and distribution center for Yukon. Best gears. I had my 307 changed to 488 yukon with trutrac. Give them a call and get the best Yukon gears.

Why don't you trust them?

Auburn Car Repair has done good work for me. They worked on my wife's car and recently replaced my rear pinion bearings. They do what they say and always have really cool rigs to look at!

Great, thanks for the input.

I drove by the shop this weekend, the shop itself isn't much to write home about. But it's all about the quality of the mechanics.
