Spokane: can i test a set of 33's?

so, i've been torn on weather or not i want 33's or stick with 31's when i get new tires. so, is there anyone willing to let me test a set of 33's? i'd hate to spend all that money and regret it.

we can either swap wheels and tires real quick, or if you have the same gears (i either have 3.07 or 3.73, i think.) and a 5 speed, let me drive your jeep a bit.

i just want to drive to the free way, hitting a few lights, or stop signs, and then drive the freeway and get off at the first exit, and come back.

i'll buy you lunch.

do you have the 4l?
you should also figure out your gear ratio.. should be a tag on your axle that will say..

alright. i was able to scrape all the crap off enough to see the tag. i do have 3.73. 4.0 5 speed.

i hear some people say 33's are fine, and some say 5th gear is useless.

33's on a 4l should be just fine in my opinion. I run 33's on my 2.5 on stock gears and it does just fine. I feel the loss of power on the freeway so you basically loose fifth gear going up any hill. Mpg sucks but hey it's a jeep. I think you'll be fine with the 4l. Just plan for an extra trip to gas station every month

You'll be fine beaver.. and we know a place in town that will regear for 125 an axle.. just gotta buy gears and install kits.. you'll want 4.10s or 4.56s for ratio..
