I have 4 good tires, 4 new chains and a tow strap but still no lift. Deep snow lifts ya up and the tires just spin. Anyone have a plow??? LOL

Stfu lol.. Its not like I cant upgrade to synthetic and aluminum hawse fairlead later.. I like the higher capacity for awkward dead weight pulls.. like when I had to be winched sideways.. my tires did nothing to make the Jeep pull easy haha

Just remember that synthetic is nowhere near as abrasion resistant as steel. Limits you a little since the pull has to be absolutely straight and obstacle free.

Thanks to Ted for suggesting Engo btw! So, I'm hoping to not have to use it to self recover on this trip.. but anyone else is fair game..

Engo will be what I'll go with once the Xmas chaos is over. Been hearing good things and looks like a quality product with a good name behind it for a damn fine price.

Yeah.. if ya think about it allllll winch companies use foreign parts, even warn... warn assembles them in the US.. but gets its parts from outside the us, yet you still pay for the warn name.. and im all for keeping jobs here but cant justify spending warn prices.. I think warn will be fine though, there are people out there who will still pay warn prices for peace of mind...

I was looking at the smitty x2o line as steve suggested I do.. but an x2o 10k with synthetic is 650..

Thanks man, but I'll be fine. My plastic cover went in the trash when I installed my BL.

we're gonna have to shim the back bolts with some washers for it to sit level.. since my bumper only uses the front 2 frame bolts..
