The best part of it was the trip off the mountain from camp.

Why, what happened?

Oh I didn't tell you guys... when I got down on the main road on my way home there was a loud vibration from the rear of the jeep but only when I was off the throttle or brake. If I braked or accelerated it went away so I pulled over and couldn't find anything wrong. I got to the Conoco in town to air up the tires and when I got to the driver rear tire(the location where the spare is) all the lug nuts had backed ½ to ¾ of the way off. I tightened em down real good and it was fine after that but dang. That was a bit scary.

Well you missed the cool part! We now have a mechanic shop at the base of the hill and he has parts like u-joints and stuff! Also told us where to go for some great wheelin' Of course his hydraulically controlled propane buggy with 46" tires will probably not encounter the challenges we will!

OK........so next time can we camp lower on the hill? That spot was really damn windy! We should camp down where we played in the water!

We try to have one once a month but this last run was my last as trail boss. I don't know who is going to be taking over. I tried to get someone *cough* Nick *cough* to take over the reigns but I don't know.

I would go to Pinehurst. There is a hell of a hill there for jeep skiing

Decembers Run.

It feels a bit one sided me planning all these events so that I can go but since no one else will take over I guess the trend will continue. How does any of these dates work out for everyone?

Dec 10th or 11th or a New Years run Dec 31st or Jan 1st. Where does everyone want to go?

Hey what about a small not to rowdy New Years Party then wheeling the next day?? At our house in the woods? I have several rooms and a sleeper sofa if someone brings the wife and kids and then other rooms for you to use sleeping bags. We can keep everyone separate if thats the way you want to do it. Then there lots of trails as some of you know that we can hit. Snow should be good and deep so we can stay low or go high into the deep chit.
Not sure it will happen but am think on it hard if anyone is interested. Anyone is welcome!! I don't want it to get wild. Maybe like we were on our 1st camp trip. Oh and John if you want to camp we are in the woods and lots of space outside.

So anyone interested??

I like the idea of partying at Teds. Ten wheeling the next day. I will most definitely be down for that. As long as the wheeling doesn't happen before noon. If I play my cards right and drink enough I'm sure I can convince myself to dig and igloo and camp in there

both, where he lives/ where's we're wheeling at. sandpoint is what, like, and hour and a half from spokane? sounds good to me. if we're dead set on new years, i can ask not and get that off.

also, before the trip, can some one please help me/ show me how to change my u-joints? they're sqeaking and it's driving me nuts! i have three new u-joints, but i literally have zero tools. =/ i'd rather not take it to barton and have it cost me an arm and a leg.

please? i'll buy beer.
