Tahuya April 1st

Well, I managed to get my replacement tie rod from Currie. And JKS quicker disconnects from Northridge4x4. Now if the weather will co-operate, I should have Big Red ready to roll by then.

So, 4/1/12. 10AM, Safeway parking lot.

A friend from Portland is coming up to wheel with us. I know Ron mentioned showing up. He is on the forum now so a big welcome to him.

Any others?

Wish I could, he hope to be closing on the house we are buying that weekend. If we do my life will become an episode of "This Old House". Once the dust settles I will be back out. Have a great time

Talking After Party!

If your sitting on the fence about going on this run, maybe my wife & I can help. After the run we will be hosting a get together at our house in University Place (pretty much on the way back to Seattle) We will be supplying fixings like Pulled pork, hot dogs and some sides. All are welcome, just PM me and I will get you on the list so we have enough food to go around.

We have done a few Saturdays. And will again, soon. This one is Sunday because of the Portland friend coming up. They won't be here until Saturday night. So stay tuned.

Hey me again, the guy with the 2012 JK from Tahuya March 3rd. This is my first jeep and that was my first time 4 wheeling. I am hooked. The 30 mins my nieces and I had with you all cemented my reputation as the worlds coolest uncle. So thanks for that!

I would love to join you all on April 1st, and be able to do the whole trail with you guys. Just as long as there is a path/option for beginners like myself? If that possible? I'm such a nub that I don't even know if that question causes eyes to roll...if so feel free to direct me to the appropriate forum.

BTW: Got my real license plates this last weekend

I'll give y'all a heads up this time, I'm in just as long as I don't get any more last minute changes.

Jeff, you are more than welcome to hit the trail with us. It can mostly be done stock. plenty of by-passes for the stuff that is too tough.

Carl, it'll be good to see you again. If you and the family make it out.

Oh wow Im a newbie to this forum, but not to Jeepin. I was in Tahuya when you broke your Currie tie rod. Silver lifted JK with red coils. I was wondering how the drive home was for you?

I love that you guys have been wheeling on Sundays. I just put some 35s on my Jeep and am ready to tear it up. Maybe Ill see you guys out there this Sunday. Im on call but I will see if a co-worker can cover.

Mainly just saying hi, HI!

Got it back together with help from the crew you saw. Made it off the trail and down to the Starbucks there in Belfair. Then AAA'd it to the house. Pics are up on the 11 March Tahuya thread.

So I found out what happened to my Jeep logo on my grill. Tacoma Dodge contracts out the clear rock bra service to another shop. The owner of that shop says "most of his customers do not want the letters back on". Getting them put back on tomorrow.

So here are the photos worth sharing that I took Sunday. Thanks again forgetting me join up.

Right now, we discussed 4/21. Steve is bringing up the XJ on the 14th. And we may be wrenching on Rich's on the 7th.

Thank you for the "hero shot" of my jeep, image #15. Using it as the banner for web page and my wallpaper, etc... love it!
