Thanks for the update Alan. We were worried about you. Here's a few pics the kid took of you and the extraction.

Wife wants lockers now! LOL

Check the transfer case while your in the mind to do this. Also, consider moving the vent lines for both up under the hood. You can get the fancy one way one valves, or just mount an open tin can upside down and run the hoses ends up into it.

Apparently it's become "a thing" that I'm only seen eating apples and pears while wheeling. This is my "look here, I brought a sandwich this time so shut your face" expression.

It was more for Michael than anyone else. No smacking necessary. I think the shock and horror of "oh god, his eyes, they're boring right into my soul!" will be enough.

Thanks again everyone and I hope we can join you guys again.
Bob I will do as you suggested I will check every thing. For a quick follow up you should have seen the look on the faces of the jiffy lube techs, I told them it got in a little water. LOL! Thanks for sharing the photos and now I know why the muddy water was on the passenger side.

Awesome photos. It was great meeting everyone. I had a blast. I ended up having to recenter my steering wheel. Special thanks to Bob for showing us around. It was greatly appreciated. I'll get those videos up, once I edit it.

I wouldn't say that. Ask Mr. Fish, he has a '12 JKU stock, shiny and he wants to keep it that way. Wheels 100% of the trails at Tahuya. He can atest to what a new rig can do in Tahuya and still come out like it went in.

Bob's right, I'm pretty protective of my paint job, and while I have a couple blemishes from Tahuya, there's nothing that wouldn't buff out by hand.

If you want to get out into the forest and spend the day with some good people, come along on the next trip. There are bypasses for all the nasty-ish bits, of which there aren't many. My only dreaded spot is one clearcut area featuring some rather stiff dead twigs poking out. If you can't maneuver around, or don't want to risk it, just hop out and break them off. We'll wait. And if you do get stuck or bend something, we'll get you out.

When it comes to my Jeep, I have a whole closet full of Sissy Pants and I've never felt that it was in any real danger.

Thanks Bob and Mr. Fish...We were out there in Feb. alone, we did go to the rock garden and back ,I just didn't want to take a chance being alone ...

We are planning a trip May 19th Saturday to Tahuya ,I hope all works for that ,I have no wench or recovery gear, as of yet ...I got a 1972 Nova SS I am doing that has taken all the budget ...What would be the basic gear to get first and who should I get it from???
I may not have it by the 19th, but I will try...I don't want to be the center of the 19th , if it dosn't work out ( slight chance of that....)

So I just though I would thro that out May 19th ...
Bob I know you have been setting trips up ,and I have been following along here... What do you think
Anybody intrested....

You are fine to go with no gear. See what other folks bring, ask, and start your list. Different wheeling trips usually require different gear. I usually bring a bag of gear and a box of tools. Belfair is close enough to get anything really needed. I am game for the 19th. Heck, the missus is pressing me to test out her new lift. We may be out before then as well.

Hi Bob,
Would it be ok if I hook up with you guys again?
I have to get my transmission rebuilt first, it has not been the same since its mud bath!
You have a great group of people and we had a lot of fun.
