Tahuya May 5th

Short notice. I am getting IMs from folks asking about going out Saturday so we say 'let's go'. I heard that Ron was wanting to bring out a portable grill and have a barbeque. He can jump in and give us details.

The month has changed up a bit for us. Tom is heading to NTC to prep fo Afghanistan 5/28. And we promised him a TSF trip. So right now the plans are:

Tahuya 5/5
Long Beach 5/12
Tillamook 5/19

Probably a day trip down to TSF. Anne's rig is ready, waiting on rims and tires. She is still sporting mine right now. So we will probably bring hers to Tahuya.

Argh! As usual I would be at this in a heart beat, but my JK (Grumpy) has an appointment @ the shop to have his overly noisy alternator taken care of...Sorry!

I also need to figure out a way to get the family all in the 2 door so the boy & dog in the back seat with out problems for the next weekends run @ Long Beach.

Mark me down as a maybe. I am picking my son up from WSU Friday night, depending on how much sleep I get I might make it.

I also need instruction on popping a front fender back into it's clips next time I see you. Tree jumped out and bit me last weekend and popped it out a bit.

My arm is well enough for Tahuya this Saturday, I should be able to go. I am interested in the Tillamook - but only if my stock 2012 JK can handle it.

Tillamook is a freat trail ride. It has by-passes for the tough stuff. I highly recommend it. Trails like cedar tree, and over half of powerline offer up a nice challenge to stock rigs.

I'd like to go but the bald tires don't do well in the mud. Or the rain. Dry roads are becoming problematic as well. Think it's time for an upgrade!

There is quite a lot of tillamook a stock jeep can do, I did firebreak5 with my mostly stock jk a few weekends ago. Of course I did leave TSF on the back of a tow truck last weekend

Hello WF, I'm new to this group. Live in Puyallup and was already thinking of heading out Saturday. Would like to join up and meet some new folks in the area if you got room for one more.

Not sure if Carl is on this forum, or if we picked him up as a stray, but I thought he might like this pic. Please pass it on if you know how to get in touch with him.
