From what I've read the difference is in the material and construction.. the frame is a bit different but as fas as fitment a newer top will fit an older tj

That's sort of the same story I got from others. I'll be getting a soft top off an 06 Rubicon tomorrow.

Yes but I also need it because this Friday I'm taking the Jeep down to Oregon for a week long hunting trip and the current soft top no longer has a rear window so a new top is a must. I had Doc's put a new exhaust system on the Jeep and now the check engine light is off. Funny what a Cat and an O2 sensor can do. The Jeep no longer sounds like a Honda Civic with a fart can on it.

I know where a NIB Bestop is.

Replace-A-Top; Soft Top; Black Denim; w/Tinted Side And Rear Windows; w/Untinted Half Door Skins; ; 1997-2002 Jeep Wrangler (97-06TJ)

$416 and you can pick it up in Spokane. Good price for a new one.

I'm getting an OEM Jeep soft top with tinted windows and all the mounting hardware to go with it for $400 that's practically unused. Thanks, I'd rather have the OEM top over the Bestop.

I remember it was Dave's Muffler that Kimmee recommended to me for the Honda when I first met you guys. Brand new, mandrel-bent, 2.25", cat-back for $150. I can't imagine the Jeep would be any more than that.

Go to mach1 with Luke... pat hooked me up with a flowmaster knockoff at the price of a glasspack, and tubing from the cat back plus a replaced piece of tubing under the transmission for like 120 total

And they warranty everything.. I went back without a receipt and they welded my muffler back up no questions asked.. even pointed out im missing a bracket from the tranny to the cat which caused the muffler to break in the first place

Went to Meineke to get a "free" alinement today, they look everything over and tell me that I need a huge list of things before They can do the alinement and that I can get it all done for just $1300! I told them I'll fix it myself and do the alinement. I had forgotten how much auto places like to try and rip people off! Meineke

Odd.......I took my YJ in last time and they said my alignment was very close and it didn't need to be done. I guess I'm glad they didn't mess with me....LOL

Upper and lower ball joints on both sides, passenger side wheel bearing, and two new links for my drag link....not worth 1300, I priced them all out at napa and im looking at about 200 bucks for everything except the new links.
