yeah, same with me. hopefully in the summer it will change, and we can all wheel more together.

ahh.

also, my throttle is tweaking out. it sticks if i'm in 2nd, 4th and reverse. and it un-sicks when i push the stick into 1st, 3rd or 5th.

i looked, and that little piece on the cable we talked about isn't even coming close to the housing. so it's not that, that's hooking on anything. i zip tied the housing like you told me to, it hasn't moved a bit. and the part where it meets the brake lever still looks like it did when we put it on. so, i don't get it.

thing is, it was working flawlessy when i drove it home from john's house. and i drove it for a few days, using half foot pedal, half hand throttle and there were no problems. but, ever since i zip tied the housing to the hose (i did that late at night) the next morning on the way to work is when it first got stuck, and it's been doing what i described above ever since. i don't see how it makes sence, but it seems as though the zip tie is screwing me.

We need to attach the housing better at the bracket before the throttle body

speaking of going higher. i've decided to go with your BB rear/ ZJ springs in the front lift idea.

BUT. which BB to you suggest? no matter what, i'll be switching to OME shocks and springs in the future. but for now, i'm getting tired of being so low. RE seems cheap enough.

OR, should i just get that zone kit everyone's been talking about lately? if i get that, i wont be able to really afford trackbars and control arms and crap. so, if you dudes can help me with relocating my tracks bars and all that. i'm all ears to your ideas. i just need to not be so low to the ground for much longer. lol

i'm kinda leaning more toward to BB Rear/ ZJ front as it seems dirt cheap. and that's what i have for money. dirt.

i'm thinking this bad boy. with ZJ springs:

http://dpgoffroad.com/products/old-m...jlj-econo-kit/

or, the zone 3 inch, with BL/MML..... and stock trackbars...

some 4" kits have you just drill a hole for the trac bar in the existing mount up front, for the rear we might have to get creative. also the same 4" kit uses the same size control arms so again that shouldnt be a problem.. do a little research on junkyard tj upgrades.. you might find some useful info

for example you can upgrade your front axle for $100 + labor to a HP d30 from an xj or zj.. direct swap.. you might find some interesting stuff.

Walker Valley went a hell of a lot better this time. Spent all day there and only hit about half of the trails. Didn't even get over to the north side ones like Mainline and Expressway, but had a blast regardless.

No damage this time either, and even had to tow my buddies 4runner back after his front hubs, third gear, and alternator went. It was a good day for Jeep.
