Where is this "jeep beach"? I'm over at JBLM. Sounds like a cool place.

today was fun as hell.. getting back up "sweaty balls trail" was a bit challenging.. thankfully i has a winch now.. winched myself up then winched mike up.. got to use my snatch block too and i got to back into a tree and bent the spare tire carrier mounting surface.. yay something new to fix..

i really need to do my on board air system soon.. if i had my front locked i mighta been able to get out under my own power.. i winched out, went to the top of the hill then drove back down and winched mike up, took maybe 45 mins to get both of us to the top of the hill.. i'll tell ya, i can imagine you're gonna have some problems getting down there with all terrains, and getting back out you'll definitely need winched

We usually go out once a month.. even more so when it starts getting warm out. Check out this or the outings and gatherings thread often. We sometimes do little last minute runs as it can be difficult to get everyones schedules to work out

Compressor is a freaking blast. Lower compressor is fairly challenging and upper compressor is just nuts, especially once you're half way up it. I have yet to hear of anyone actually making it all the way through upper compressor.

Yeah, we hit Compressor about twice a season or so. There are other trails around Pinehurst as well as up around Kettle Falls and Mt Spokane.

I know mt Spokane/kit carson area pretty well spent alot of time up there. Im really interested in getting into some more challenging areas. Im in the middle of tube fenders and body armor right now and I just picked up gears axles and beadlocks so its time to play

Compressor put a decent dent in my T&T tube fenders.

Beadlocks may be a good idea as the last time we went there a couple people ended up with tree bark in their beads after airing down.

No, you're going to need them. Expect mild body damage and the possibility of popping a bead if you don't have beadlocks.

Ya, I picked up a couple fairly decent sized pieces of wood in the bead of a couple of tires last time. The time before last Tom (I think that was his name) sheared off a valve stem which we had to swap out with his spare...on a small waterfall area. lol

Oh well body damage happens, its part of wheeling. Well corner gaurds and rear fenders are on hoping to get the fronts on this week beadlocks are on hold they didn't turn out how I wanted so I gotta sell them and get a different set. Hoping to swap axles this weekend... then im ready to wheel whenever!

I thought you guys would like to know about a new FB page called PARTSANDMORE. It's a local page to list car parts for sale/swap/iso.
