Our has been off for 2 weeks now, we do have the safari top on though. With all of the rain we had, I just pulled all of the plugs out of the floor and said hell with it

I did the same jan lol then the wife wanted to put it back on so I did and then took it back off cause it's really nice out, going after work to possibly trade my hard top for a soft top + cash! then I can finally build my traction bar and do a couple other things like waggy springs and some front bumper building

So in case anyone cares, which I doubt anyone does, but I feel the need to share updates of the slammin salmon. Dropped off my 8.8 to get regeared over the weekend. Also bought new calipers for the disc brake swap, figured I've already dropped some cash in the axle, y not spend another $80 and have new ones instead of gambling on jy ones. Also ordered my digital dash for it, should be here tomorrow so I can figure out the dash. Probably gonna meet up with Steve's friend at water knife and have him water jet me a custom flat one. Attached is a picture of the cluster that's going in.

Pretty sweet. What are you gonna do with the left over area where the vitals gauges were in the center?

That digital cluster wont fit above the steering wheel. So its going to be centered.

Also I'm keeping the dash pad. Mainly to keep the wiper motor covered and to easily retain the defrost vents. Also I like the look of it. So between the steering column and the bottom of the pad it's just shy of 3" while the cluster is just over.

Joe at Hildebrand called me to tell me my axles done! One day turn around! Can't be happier with that. Picking it up in the morning. Hoping to have the salmon on the road (minus gauges) next week, but it'll probably be more like week after next.

The salmon we got from the coast a few months ago, bought it for the axles which will be going in my Jeep next week, and the fact that it has a super sexy motor swap..

I finally got everything ready for the axle swap.. Pengin is buying the Jeep with a d30 and he's throwing in his 8.8. So its only been out of commission because we've been doing work on another few Jeeps too..
