Take Francis west until it turns north, stay on that road for about 5 miles. Right before it turns into one lane there is a sign that says orv park to the left. Turn left there and go 2.5-3 miles west on that road. There will be another sign on the right saying orv park to the left. The turn is on the left right at the sign. Then about 1 mile south on that dirt road is the entrance to the park on the right. Or just pm me a few hours ahead of when you want to go and ill be more than happy to show you where it is and go play myself a bit.

It was a brown bear, and we're replacing his crappy ba10 transmission with an ax15, just waiting on the clutch to get here

The ba10 was originally designed to be used in some European cars but was put into Wranglers in 87-88.5, essentially when AMC was being bought by Chrysler they cheaped out on some things like the transmission, and due to their partnership with Renault, and renaults partnership with peugeot they used a tranny they could get on the cheap

The ba10 is known to lose 5th gear, the case is known to warp/stretch, and its just plain not up to being behind the 4.2l

Any time man, I do a lot of research before jumping into anything and I really did my research before getting a Jeep. Dunno when I'll do another transmission swap again, probably help when Luke swaps to a 5 speed in his Jeep.. I'm planning on helping mitchness from the forum do a clutch on his Jeep this coming weekend though

Wasn't Chris's jeep stock? That little white bitch would go anywhere. Just have to know how to drive. But again Chris is like one of those crazy Super Mario charactors. Wide open crazy all the time

Note to self. When welding, use actual welding gloves. Ouch.

Radiator/BL questions

Removed 144K mile radiator, water pump. Anyone have experience on a manufacture for replacement radiator? Water Pump?
Also need to do a 1" BL. Do I add pucks or new set up like the poly performance?

Not sure on radiator but oe water pump should do just fine. For body lift just get a kit, some replace the whole body mount, some add to it

Got new seats in the ranger. Gonna be switching the interior to blue since mine is thrashed anyway and I had these seats laying around.

And here is one of the two brackets I had to make for these to work.
