LOL! Well don't put it past me! I don't do as much dumb stuff as I used to, but it still happens.......from time to time

I've driven by there on the way to a friends place and it does look pretty tame.

There isn't any trails there huh? It's been a long time since I've wheeled on anything but trails or the open dunes at the Oregon coast.

Well like I said before I'm new to jeeps and I have these tiny......fuseable link axles and I'm imagining them popping with my little 31's trying to crawl over anything larger than a curb! Hoping I can rein in my 2.5L torque monster to keep that from happening

You'll be fine.. Coyote who's a mod on here had a 2.4l tj with 31s and beat on that thing like no other, he popped tires a lot but never had any other issues. Parts are cheap at the junkyard, considering you have the same axles as an xj

Running a d30 with 35s and a v8 and i've wheeled it for some time with no issues other than a u joint. A 2.5 wont break that front with 31s unless you do something incredibly stupid lol. The d35 on the other hand.....

I could probably 2 low most of the "hard" stuff at 7 mile. Its a good place to get your feet wet though. Crap part is you have to pay to wheel there, I haven't gone there in a year and a half or so..

I'm not originally from around here, what do you buy to be able to wheel there? Like an ORV sticker or permit? And does that work for anywhere in Washington? Also when I load up and go riding somewhere will the yearly permit (can't remember the name of it) I have for parking at the state parks work? I swear this state is crazy. Snowmobile parking permit, park parking permit, can't walk your damn dogs on most of the trails here......

You risk getting a ticket if you don't. 7 mile isn't worth the 100 bucks they charge if you don't have a discover pass
