sure just lemme know if you ever do. Pengintamer and I both like turning wrenches.. i think he does more than I do.. Today was a very trying day though, due to some bad communication between him and I we left a socket on an untightened bolt sitting behind the bumper mount on the frame.. basically we had to drop half the gas tank again to tighten/retrieve it lol.

Pengin: I'll might head up there around 8 to wallyworld in airway if you wanna go, we'll see what happens in the morning

I gotta figure out this damn paypal crap. I forgot i got a new card and tried purchasing the bumper and it declined, so i went in and changed the expiration date and all that crap, re-ran the transaction and it said there was an error. I checked paypal and my bank account and both confirm the transaction really did go through, but never got a confirmation from ebay. I e-mailed the seller to confirm my payment, so we'll see how that goes. Might need to call paypal tomorrow and see if it did go through.

hmmmmmm mike you ever done an ax-15 rebuild? :P I might be buying a rebuild kit soon, got some transmission issues

When i shift from 2nd to 3rd usually dont get any grinding at all, but 3 to 4 is really sketchy, i have to be going fast enough and i hear the grinding, going back down to 3 i can hear grinding sometimes, and it has gotten stuck in both 3rd and 4th a few times, like will not shift out. Found a rebuild kit on ebay for 155 which aint bad. I can either rebuild or find another manual transmission to put in. whichever is cheaper..

Not familiar, but I seldom get past Nevada unless I'm going all they out to bigelow. And I usually pay more attention to the moronic drivers around there than the businesses!

He might be able to get the parts for 155. But labor is prob 500 or so.

Wow I've been considering a re-gear but don't have the $1200+ to do it, do you think they would charge a similar price for a TJ?

MissoulaTJ: call them up! (509) 483-2354
Their garage is constantly packed but you get fast turn around service, business stays busy for a reason

I call them tues before they close to check the progress and they said they have not started. Called wednesday after work at 2pm and still have not started. Got a call later wednesday saying that it wont be done till saturday afternoon since they can not start it till friday now. Not even an hour later joe calls me back and tells me it wont be done till monday and that his shop guy will have to work saturday. In which joe will have to pay him over time.

My comment to that was pretty much "ok, but i have no sympathy for him or you. him working on sat and you paying overtime" "i get two days off a week, which only turns into one since i get called in one of my days off" this will be one of the last times, if not the last time i come here".

Up until this point, C4wd has the lowest prices by at least $10. I got a good deal on gears, install etc but believe me when i go there to pick up my jeep im going to be asking for an even bigger discount or something for my jeep free (SS etc) for the inconvenience of not having a car for 4 extra days beyond the day i was scheduled for pick up.

Sorry for the rant everyone, but its a little freakin frustrating that when you make an appointment ahead of time and have set plans and dates to pick up, then it all falls through. What is the point of making a dang appointment anyways. Plus i got a call yesterday in which joe said " i can not start your rig till i finish this other guys jeep who's appointment was two days after yours, but he is from out of town". Isn't that some BS!!!

I retract me statement i posted earlier of how great C4wd is.
Just read your "rant". I had my lift put on by them awhile ago. Left the jeep with them for a week, with them saying no problem with gettin it done. Got the jeep back after two and a half weeks! I was happy with the quality of their work but took much longer than they told me!
