Bump stops? Pff just wheel til sheet metal crinkles and remove said metal with a recip saw lol. But seriously, what kind of bumps? Daystar makes some cool poly progressive ones, id love to get the bilstein air bumps, but iirc they're like $200 ea.

Id like the air bumps but i think im just gonna use 2x6 tubing to extend the rear and live with the front. The front actually clears everything but fully compresses the shock. Why are you wanting new ones?

Well I just have stock ones, and since ill be running basically the same setup as dark, I get to learn from his crinkled sheet metal lol. And air bumps seem like the best possible setup since its not just *bang* it actually slows the axle down. I got a shitty back so anything to help all that energy going up my spine the better lol

I never thought of it just pounding into the stops, makes sence though.

I have been reading a bunch of write ups on how your suppose to get more droop with the right length stops. Kind of a teeter totter effect. Ie actually pushes the opposite side down when one is on the stop.

I have read that too, seems to me it would only do that in relatively specific circumstances. Plus too much bump stop and it would in theory make you tippyer. Its definitely one of those things where you walk a fine line as far as setup. Too little, damage, too much and its counter productive. Thanks for bringing it up tho its something ive overlooked in my build plan.

I might go with these. Seems like a good alternative to the bilstein ones I mentioned earlier.

I've broke just about everything there is to break on a d30 and honestly after breaking a driver side axle and both upper and lower ball joints at the same time not even really beating on it I figured it's time to do it right lol

Why d60 rear? Why not 14b or sterling 10.25?

I picked up the whole truck off a buddy thats the main reason. Plus ground clearance between a 60 and 14bolt is another reason. I could have shaved a 14bolt but didn't really see it worth the expense. I figure if the 60 gives me problems which I do not think it will ill swap in a 14bolt

Hey peng, hows it look to get those axles? And what is the width on them if u remember. Thinkn about just sticking with 65" and a narrower, less backspace wheel.
